6 William McGregor, farmer at Tighnacoille, aged 53y, son of William McGregor (crofter, deceased), and Isabella Mclean, married Catherine Campbell, aged 35y, daughter of John Campbell (shepherd, deceased), and Ann Stewart (farmer), on 6th October 1871 at Tighnacoille. Witnessed by John Robertson and Catherine Robertson.
7 Catherine Campbell, daughter of John Campbell and Ann Stewart, born 11th May 1828, Innerhaddan, Fortingall.
8 Ann Stewart died at Tighnacoille on 2nd April 1880 aged 84 years. The death certificate was witnessed by James Menzies (son) although she was described as single. Her parents were given as Alexander Stewart, crofter, and Ann Stewart (same maiden name). See note 9.
9 Born 18th December 1817, the son of William Lamond (McGilliwie) and Helen Low.
10 Married Jane Douglas 26th June 1853.

1 Angus was a miller and farmer at Killichonan, eight miles west of Kinloch Rannoch, where he and Rachel had a large family. One son became a doctor and a daughter was a seamstress in a SPCK school. Angus and Rachel returned to Killichonan where they died within six weeks of each other in 1897.
2 Rachel was locally known as 'the Rannoch Seer'. Both of her parental lines were said to have the power of 'second sight', and this was especially associated with red-haired people, which both she and her daughter Rachel had.
3 Daughter of Ewan Cameron and Rachel McGregor, born Craganour in 1819. Rachel McGregor and her brother John were born in the 1770s and are thought to have been the children of Donald and Katherine MacGregor of Lerigan (see 'Kate MacGregor's Heart' - local folktale).
