The Testament Dative and Inventory
of William Stewart in Tighnacoille, Glentilt, 1767

William Stewart The Testament Dative and Inventory of the goods, gear, debts and sums of money which pertained and was resting to umquhile (deceased) William Stewart, sometime in Tynakeyle (Tighnacoille) in Glentilt, the time of his decease which was in the month of November last, truely made and given up by Donald Stewart of Dalvorest, and executor dative qua nearest in kin, decerned to the said defunct by the Commissary of Dunkeld the date of this present as the decreet dative following on an edict duly executed and endorsed in itself more fully bears.

Imprimis (Firstly), there is given up, pertaining and resting to the said umquhile William Stewart time foresaid of his decease, the sum of eighty pounds Scots money contained in a bill drawn by the defunct upon and accepted by Donald Gray in Dalness, payable at Martinmass last.
Item, of the annual rents (interest) since the said term of Martinmass last.
Item, of the sum of twenty merks Scots money due to the defunct by John Stewart at Bridgend of Struan.

This testament was confirmed at Dunkeld, the tenth day of February 1767 by Mr Thomas Bisset, Commissary, and Alexander Stewart in Donavourd became bound for the executor per bond and he for (his) relief.
