This information is consistant with, but not does match exactly, entries in the Old Parish Records for Blair Atholl.

Donald Stewart in Uchdnanetaig and Janet Stewart in Balintepaill of Fincastle, Parish of Dull were married July 17th 1754

1756 Donald Stewart in Uchdnanetaig and Janet Stewart his wife had a child born April 19th, baptised 25th called Alexander
1757 Donald Stewart in Uchdnanetaig and Janet Stewart his wife had a child born November 1st, baptised 6th called Christian

1764 Donald Stewart in Uchdnanetaig and Janet Stewart his wife had a child born July 7th, baptised 11th called John
1768 Donald Stewart and Janet Stewart in Bailchastail had a son Patrick baptised 7th September
1770 Donald Stewart and Janet Stewart in Bailchastail had a daughter Helen baptised 3rd September

Firstly, Donald Stewart lived in Uchdnanetaig before his marriage, and it was not until after 1764 that the family became established at Balhastle (Balcastle), for nearly the next 100 years.

Secondly, although most of the dates of birth are fairly accurate, Christian (Christina) was about 10 years older than recorded. She certainly could not have been born in 1768, as a son Patrick was born that year. The genealogical record does not mention Patrick, so it must be assumed that he died in infancy.
